During the 2016 election, I worked as a social manager at the New York Daily News where I covered a breathless news cycle, worked with editorial to maximize online engagement, and hit the streets of New York to cover candidates, protests and breaking political news.


I've worked full-time as an engagement editor and consultant for new pubs like RealClearLife and international movements like the March for Science. In my ongoing work for the non-profit Modern States Education Alliance, I use social media to connect students with tools that allow them to earn college credit for free.


I believe that understanding how an organization finds audience is vital to any media or content production role, even if the role isn't specifically on the social team. My background in audience development helps set me apart from other candidates because it allows me a birds-eye perspective of how a piece of content moves: From pitch to production to dissemination.
