I work as a freelance writer and photographer in the United States, though my work sometimes takes me to places like Costa Rica, South Africa, and Indonesia. I love reporting on the outdoors, and working as a consultant with news organizations to help better reach new audiences. You can find my writing and photography in places like the Washington Post, Reuters and The Atlantic.
In addition to my work as a journalist, I am a first-time author seeking representation for my debut contemporary YA novel, THE DEAD PARENTS CLUB. I am continually in awe of how supportive and wonderful the online writing community is, so when I’m not out in the field, you can find me on Twitter discussing my latest rejections and rewrites with other YA authors.
